Inspiration Behind The Art

Just Zed really, he is my inspiration. 

My name is Niki Richardson and I live in Highcliffe, Christchurch, Dorset where we have beautiful beaches close by, Zed's favourite haunt.

I loved art from a very early age. At 12, I went to art classes with a very old artist, who I think was called Paddy.  It was such a long time ago and what 12 year old remembers an adult's name years later?

However, he was a very good teacher and he allowed me to explore different mediums and styles. Now 60 and I still have an oil painting from that class hanging on my wall at home.  

Zed has really reignited my love of painting, which I thought I had long lost.  My paintings of him are playful and deliberate, rather like the little chap himself.
